MYO Mogi - WeeJee

WeeJee is a small Mogi with a big attitude. They are a Free Mogi who set out in the world to make their fortune by telling fortunes and divining the futures of other Mogi (or really anyone that will listen). If you ask them, they’re the best fortune teller in the world, and has travelled far and wide to perfect their abilities (they’re vague as to what those actual abilities are).

On their journey they stumbled into a gateway to another world, and found themselves inside Carnivale, a small sentient pocket dimension between the real world and the world of Dream. It’s home to many supernatural beings, and masquerades as an attraction for humans to enjoy themselves (meanwhile the denizens of Carnivale sup on their life force or peddle wares and services). WeeJee came to know the resident fortuneteller of Carnivale, a diminutive triple-faced Pomeranian by the name of Lysandre (though she’d be better known by her true name, Cerberus). 

WeeJee decided Lysandre would benefit from it’s considerable prowess as a seer and so decided to take up residence with her (whether Lysandre actually requested its presence or merely entertains the whims of the small creature is anyones guess). 

Regardless the two have fallen into an easy companionship, and WeeJee does its best to help out around the shop (and only sometimes interrupts divinations with its own boisterous interpretations).

I’ve decided that for MYOs I’m going to do my best to make them fit into my headworld of Carnivale. WeeJee is of course inspired by my love of the occult, and their mask is heavily inspired by a ouija board. 

I’m going to do a better, more detailed ref later when I have time, but for now, the mask is shaped roughly like a ouija board planchette. From the front the center of the mask looks like a 3rd eye, and the horn serves as a focal point for it’s divining abilities (or so it claims). The eye is pearlescent with no visible pupil. The tail is long and flat, and usually drags behind it like a bridal train.
